Department overview:

Fitch Ratings is looking for an Associate Director responsible for managing the promotion and distribution of content for Strategic Relationships within the Corporate Finance ratings business to develop and maintain custom solutions towards delivering content to market participants. This role is based within the Business Relationship Management ("BRM") group in New York, providing tactical and strategic business support to the North America Corporate Business Group. This role will support all on-going brand visibility efforts while contributing to the development and expansion of successful programs around targeted Banker/Issuer/Prospect/Private Equity/Investor contacts. The role reports to the Head of North Americas Corporate Finance Banker Team.

Key aspects of this role will include:



  • Compose targeted messages related to relevant deals or market events, understanding what points would be of interests to Bankers vs Issuers vs Private Equity contacts.
  • Content planning and maintenance of customized experiences for prospects and current contacts, including distributing updates on a regular basis
  • Identify opportunities to synthesize research and analytical output to relevant market participants on behalf of relationship management teams
  • Working closely with relationship management teams globally to coordinate on broad vs targeted regional messaging and promotion opportunities
  • Working with Fitch Ratings Marketing and Fitch Group Marketing Teams to develop and execute plans around new messaging opportunities via web, social, email, and physical content.
  • Collaborate with Senior BRM Relationship Managers and Fitch Ratings Marketing to develop and distribute mass-market messages that target our constituents
  • Partner with the CRM Team to enhance our salesforce instance for better usability within Corporates and other BRM groups
  • Leverage proficiency in Excel, Marketo, and Salesforce to better align our efforts across Corporate BRM groups globally to help bring consistency to programs and measurement.

    Qualifications and experience:



    • 3-5 years working knowledge of B2B marketing in a Financial Services environment
    • Mandatory experience working with Investment Bankers, Investment Firms, or Private Equity organizations.
    • Essential working knowledge of global financial markets, specifically banking and leveraged finance/corporate debt issuance
    • Experience in content creation and detailed research synthesis to consumable forms
    • Strategic vision and critical thinking in a multi-channel content creation role
    • An understanding of the competitive landscape as well as the orientation of how prospects and clients consume information
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills




      • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member
      • Marketo, Excel, and Salesforce proficiency highly desired
