We are looking for a creative problem solver, with a passion for innovation. The Vice President, Strategy & Commercialization is responsible for developing and executing our strategy and commercialization around our first Direct to Consumer product, Wisely Direct by COMPANY. Wisely Direct by COMPANY, is a General Purpose Reloadable debit account/card and is a new way for COMPANY Client Employees to get their pay. The user can enroll directly for the account/card and it will provide a user easy access to and control of their money. There are no hidden fees, no overdraft fees, a user can add money from multiple jobs and the account is theirs to keep as they might change jobs. This role will be responsible for developing the overall touch point/discovery strategies and commercialization strategies to successfully reach the end-consumer of our first Direct to Consumer product, Wisely Direct GPR pre-paid account/card product. Over time as we add more Consumer Financial Services product features, the role will be responsible for developing the strategy and commercialization around those products. This position will be part of the core Wisely Direct Start-Up team and report directly to the DVP/General Manager COMPANY Consumer Financial Services Venture. Over time as we transition the offering into steady state, responsibilities could be expanded to include other Wisely offerings. At COMPANY we are driven by your success. Responsibilities As this is the first product COMPANY is launching directly to consumers, this is a critically important role for us as we start building our expertise in Direct to Consumer acquisition marketing. During the startup phase, the key responsibilities will include: Define overall business case and key metrics for success. Responsible for overall product financial performance, including P&L metrics. Define and drive Wisely Direct Consumer Financial strategy and commercialization plans. Work closely with the Distribution Lead to identify the different channels within the COMPANY eco-system to launch the product from. Lead market, competitive, and end-user research for COMPANY's Direct to Consumer offering. Provide input into features and functionality of the products. Identify new partnerships, alliances and opportunities that extend or value propositions. Develop pricing/revenue strategies and model. Provide input into minimum viable product construct (execution responsibility and ownership will be with the Senior Product Owner). Provide input into a product roadmap post-launch (e.g., 3, 6, 9, 12+ months)* (execution responsibility and ownership will be with the Senior Product Owner). Provide input into UI / UX* (i.e., end to end mapping of process, steps, data entry, time, etc. for product). Discovery channels User enrollment Card activation Product interface / account management / servicing Determine product platform, i.e., physical and digital interface (mobile app, online access). Co-develop integration requirements for internal and external (e.g., vendor) interfaces. Identify KPIs and lead business analytics (identify patterns in user behaviors, spend/load, operational activities, etc. to find opportunities or potential risks). Make recommendations for acquisition, pricing, balance growth, account activation and usage, retention, etc. Qualifications 12-15 years relevant Direct to Consumer Financial Services Strategy & Commercialization Experience. Payments experience required (experience in GPR pre-paid marketing or digital wallet products preferred); B2C marketing experience preferred. Track record formulating, implementing and enhancing strategic payment initiatives and business plans. Self-directed and able to handle multiple tasks, delegate responsibility through a matrixed team and prioritize with a professional, can-do attitude. Demonstrated ability in building and leading marketing programs in a fast paced, results oriented environment. Strategic thinker with broad perspective and, at the same time, demonstrates an acute attention to detail and ability to execute flawlessly. Some travel expected to Roseland, NJ & Costa Mesa, San Dimas & Pasadena, CA.
