Job Description Summary:
Company UK is seeking a Head of Industry Partnerships role within the Channel Partner team with responsibility to deliver an Industry Partner Program for Web Agencies, System Integrators, Consultants and Investors.
This role will focus on aligning across functions and departments locally, regionally and globally, identifying opportunities to drive incremental revenue impact, platform activation and merchant acquisition and engagement.
Responsibilities will include owning the overall strategy and customer success for the US Industry Partner initiatives as well as a few key priority individual partners through establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the interactions with executive sponsors and stakeholders within each partner.
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of experience allowing for effective engagement with internal stakeholder groups (Product, Legal, Compliance, Pricing, Underwriting, Brand Risk Management etc) and directly with key partners at several levels, including business development, sales, marketing, channel, and executive. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about new business models, product integrations, and technical challenges as well as build and convey compelling value propositions and drive innovation through partners. The position also requires experience working with technical services and products along with working knowledge of service delivery, business operations, and cross-functional team management.Engage and grow agency portfolio across all Systems Integrator, Web Agencies, Developers, Venture Capital, Private Equity and non-traditional "Industry" Partners. Whilst also being responsible for long tail partner strategy and initiatives with responsibility for a set portfolio of partners.
Core Responsibilities: Work closely with marketplaces project group to shape and implement a global, regional and local go to market strategy Foster strategic relationships with marketplace operators, partners and ecosystem players Work collaboratively across teams inside Company to drive new solutions to market, including account management, solution design and product management, compliance, legal, risk and professional services Prepare and give industry sector and specfic business reviews to Company and partner senior leadership Manage complex contract negotiations involving legal, marketing, and business terms Employ superior negotiation and communication abilities as an influencer while embodying unquestionable integrity and trust Drive for results with a bias toward action based on a comprehensive strategy High level of comfort with analytics and presentation Monitor and evaluate performance of daily sales on third party marketplaces Ensure that company is abiding by all marketplace policies and guidelines Deliver continued training to a wide cross functional group of internal stakeholders Professional Qualifications: 8+ years of business development, enterprise account management, consulting sales and service delivery, or product management experience in a position such as a Partner Manager, Shopping Cart Manager, Relationship Manager – Partners, Acquiring Services, ideally in the the payment, e-commerce or internet industry Project management skills and certification a plus Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PPT Exceptional troubleshooting problem solving skills Ability to work in a professional manner, be flexible, and handle interactions with all levels of the organization and with external clients Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate business and technical concepts to cross-functional audiences Strong technical acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving emerging/disruptive technologies such as web services, SaaS delivery models, cloud payments, etc. Ability to think and work creatively to develop unique joint value propositions and product strategy within Company Comfortable navigating large and complex organizations to influencing and obtain stakeholder buy in Expert negotiator in enterprise and/or technical sales Proven ability to uncover and deliver revenue through partnerships an additional language would be a benefit
