Pocket protectors not required. THE ROLE: (S)VP, Consumer Data and Analytics The (S)VP of Consumer Data and Analytics is a new and exciting role within the Research and Analytics team. The role was constructed to ensure that we align our data and analytics capabilities to optimize the “CAR” (Content, Audience, Revenue). The leader of this group is responsible for leading a team that specializes in: Consumer data science and advanced analytics Consumer data stewardship and governance Consumer data activation and CRM MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO: Consumer Data Science and Advanced Analytics Design, build and lead this centralized consumer data science and advanced analytics center of excellence with responsibility for providing measurement and insight regarding business optimization Establish and communicate the vision and strategy for the use of data and analytics across the Research organization, which services the overall company Partner with business stakeholders to formulate and drive A+E’s growing consumer/audience analytics agenda Develop business insights to generate enterprise value creation, and creation of new revenue opportunities Develop, monitor, and measure results of various KPIs reflecting the health of various A+E programs and products Consumer Data Stewardship and Governance Collaborate across A+E’s programming networks and consumer businesses to ensure: Appropriate data governance and quality Effective, efficient, and insightful collection, reporting and interpretation of consumer and customer-related data Selection, integration and development of technology and BI tools to improve reporting and visualization Ensure consistent basic metrics and data structures are in place, including standardized common “language” for consumer data across the enterprise Consumer Data Activation and CRM Lead a lean data-driven CRM team that is right-sized for today’s business goals Oversee Email Marketing program to drive incremental tune-in and brand engagement Provide operational support of email campaigns to millions of consumers, Implement tactics to grow the consumer email database Lead the expansion of A+E’s DMP (Krux) Work with agency to support Marketing campaigns through optimized targeting using 1P Data and look-alike modeling Acquire 3rd Party Data to augment and decorate 1st Party metadata for advanced segmentation targeting Create and evangelize Ad Sales products in collaboration with the Sales department to offer advertisers value-add opportunities Budget Management Oversee a team of 10-20 staff and consultants responsible for: Optimization of $XXXMM Marketing Budget to drive tune-in to priority programming Generation of $XXMM in incremental Revenue through Email/Digital tune-in tactics, SVOD subscriber acquisition, and the development of DMP-based Ad Sales Products for advertisers of Company WHAT YOU’LL LEARN: On our team, you'll have the opportunity to put all your creativity and love of the brand to work in a supportive environment with a like-minded people. YOUR STORY: +BEHAVIORS (what you need to have) Bachelor’s Degree. MBA, Masters in Data Science, or similar Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience Business acumen to keep your work focused on driving towards company goals Interest in the brand and passion for how it can be reflected in modern culture Innovative and creative thinker; unafraid to test and fail – and learn Have a point of view but willing to hear others out and be persuaded Collaborative; keen to help the whole room get smarter (not driven to show you’re the smartest in the room) Proactive, positive, reliable, incredibly dedicated, with tremendous follow-through Inspiring leader to people of varying backgrounds Able to explain complex topics in simple terms for wide audiences
