The team is also working on the latest North American real-time payment solutions. There is significant cross-pollination between the business units. The business is looking to develop a sustainable high single digit revenue growth rate with continual margin expansion. Within FIS, the business is located as follows: FIS => FIS Integrated Financial Solutions => FIS Payments, Wealth & Retirement => FIS Card & Money MovementJob Summary This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Division Executive of Card & Money Movement. The individual in this role will collaborate with the Division Executive in the creation and ongoing management of the growth strategy for Card & Money Movement and execute on it including:

  • Maximizing opportunities for revenue growth by combining/leveraging product lines in Card & Money Movement and across FIS
  • Evaluating third party companies with accretive IP and transaction flows for M&A activity
  • Developing and securing critical partnerships to drive growth
  • Identifying adjacent spaces for growth and pivoting the business to capitalize on those
  • Being an industry facing expert with clients and analysts representing the overall strategyGeneral Duties & Responsibilities
  • Set Strategy: Set the business strategy for 5-year plan of sustainable high single digit growth Y/Y
  • Manage Trajectory: Ensure the business maintains/exceeds the growth trajectory of the 5-year plan
  • Develop Business: Uncover, secure, and manage/grow strategic third-party partnerships
  • Lever Existing IP: Work across groups at FIS to create combined solutions to drive growth for MM&L
  • Expand Revenue Streams: Evaluate & launch incremental revenue streams, i.e. managed services
  • Develop Business: Uncover, secure, and manage/grow strategic third-party partnerships
  • Collaborate on Sales process and education on new offerings and drive sales uptake
  • Close Deals: Assist Sales on large, needle-moving deals
  • Engage with Clients: High levels of interaction with customers and prospective customers
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Become the #1 expert on Card & Money Movement value & offerings
  • Executive Messaging: Anticipate questions from management - build appropriate narratives
  • Secure Investment: Build successful business cases to drive M&A and new solution development
  • Build Extended relationships across internal and external stakeholders
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration or law or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    • Communicates ideas through presentation, verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner
    • Highly skilled at business case development
    • Start-up Executive and/or New Product Launch or New Business Unit Launch experience
    • M&A experience - either side of the transaction
    • Comprehensive knowledge of at least one substantive area of Card & Money Movement
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Self-driven learner/intellectually curious
    • Demonstrated ability to plan and complete work within tight time limitations
    • Ability to apply creative problem-solving techniques and tools to opportunities
    • Ability to provide information to a variety of audiences and deal effectively with executivesGENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Plans, manages and controls activities of one or more teams of analysts that evaluate, analyze and formulate strategies for business growth and/or improving productivity and profitability and provide business intelligence and strategic planning support for one or more lines of business, business segments or the enterprise. * Identifies, researches and evaluates new business opportunities and market initiatives by analyzing complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources. Tracks competition and identifies threats or opportunities. * Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce recommendations and business and/or strategic plans based on company and external data analysis. * Directs planning and preparation of business proposals and provide data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. * Ensures policies and procedures align with corporate vision. * Selects, develops and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of function. Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals and pay review. * Other related duties assigned as needed. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in business, management, marketing, finance or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES * Thorough knowledge of products and services in assigned business operation(s) * In-depth industry knowledge * Knowledge of banking practices, regulations and operations within assigned line(s) of business * Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry , e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, CMM * Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, e.g., agile, iterative, waterfall * General business skills, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence * Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors * Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills * Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take * Ability to understand and focus on clients needs, establish credibility and build positive, professional relationships with clients * Project management skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasks * Requires leadership and negotiation skillsWhat we offer you
