Job Description:

Working in partnership with cross-functional partners and the executive management team, this role will lead the identification and pursuit of strategic business opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures. The individual will also define and execute the organic and inorganic strategy, transactions and value realization tied to Company’s long-term strategic plan. This individual will be a thought leader and an innovator. They will have an external view of healthcare trends, competitive landscape and will possess strategic thinking and a strategic vision to identify and invest ahead of critical market transitions. They will also engage on incubation and innovation ideas, helping to identify market opportunities, positioning, and success metrics. This is a highly influential role across the organization and requires someone with a true passion for healthcare, technology, understanding of our core products and appreciation of our mission. Responsibilities Work with senior leadership to define strategic growth opportunities and identify potential investment/M&A targets Support investment/M&A opportunities through execution, negotiation, and due diligence, including financial modeling and valuation In partnership with the CEO and other key Senior Executives, develop, communicate and implement the company's strategic plan. Monitor the execution of the strategic plan and drive decision-making creating medium- and long-term value. Focus on the development and growth of the business through building relationships in the industry, identifying opportunities, and completing business deals. Manage activities of the Business Development, Alliance Management, M&A, and Strategy Planning functions, and ensure that activities are prioritized and aligned with overall strategy. Facilitate and drive key strategic initiatives through inception phase. Ensure departmental alignment with overall strategic plan to reflect organizational strategic priorities. Serve as an extension of the CEO (authorized delegate/proxy), attending meetings on his behalf, as necessary. Serve as a liaison between executive leads and departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff. Manage special projects as necessary; with ability to partner with cross-functional teams and multiple work groups. Qualifications Competencies Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, Exec and Leadership teams, and external Clients Expert level written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions Qualifications Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience. Master’s degree in Finance or Operations preferred Experience partnering with C-Level Executives preferred Exceptional organizational and analytical skills Have a good sense of humor and is someone who enjoys working with others and is looking for a mission driven culture Deadline-driven, organized and able to multitask Experience responding to complex inquiries, performing research, analyzing data, identifying potential issues, making a decision, and documenting results/findings to support conclusions; proven track record of results in team leadership, project management, qualitative and quantitative analysis of data and information
