Citi is currently recruiting for a Director-level leader with well-rounded knowledge and experience in Lean or Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Learning & Development, to play a leading role in the evolution and application of our customized Lean program, CitiLean. Your role will be to partner with senior leaders across Citi to drive end-to-end process transformation, putting the customer at the center of the process and designing and enabling change to reinforce that position. Through the application of Lean tools and techniques, you will identify major pain points, investigate their root causes and provide innovative solutions that transform the client experience. Partnering with Citi's center of excellence for Emerging Technology - the Smart Automation Center - you will bring best-of-breed artificial intelligence and robotics solutions that augment processes improved through Lean methodologies. You will become a trusted and independent advisor to the Business, upskilling and empowering our people to independently solve problems for the benefit of our clients. You will also lead the strategy and execution of Citi's proprietary, best-in-class CitiLean Academy and Robotics Academy and build strategic internal partnerships with Citi's business lines to embed the capability. Key Responsibilities:
    • Establish and cultivate relationships with senior stakeholders of partner organizations, working with them to establish and embed CitiLean & Smart Automation in their organization and build robust program pipelines
    • Advise and coach stakeholders as a Smart Automation Catalyst - by partnering with Businesses and Global Functions to identify opportunities to apply CitiLean and Robotics and build a book of work in line with business. In addition to being able to work with and influence senior management, this will require an understanding of which processes require streamlining and then determining which technologies are best suited to different use-cases and to translate those into business cases with a clear ROI.
    • Lead a team of direct reports, while concurrently leading multiple project teams comprised of business leaders, business project team members, and CitiLean & Smart Automation team members to drive high profile and high impact end to end process optimization projects
    • Lead the strategy and execution of the CitiLean and Robotics Academies, including the creation of formal learning curriculums, assessment of learning needs, development of new training content, and implementation of innovative development methods (e.g. CitiLean Mobilization, Adaptive Learning, etc.)
    • Contribute as a thought leader to the evolution of our proprietary methodologies and capabilities
    • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of operational processes and reporting that underpin the management of the training programs, capabilities, partnerships, etc. (e.g. training registration, badging, certifications, reports, etc.)
    • Create senior leadership presentations (e.g. Board of Directors, Services Strategy Council, etc.) and executive updates Key Cultural Fit:

      • You can work across boundaries to fill the gaps, and drive accountability for yourself and others Qualifications Job Skills/Qualifications:
        • Minimum of 10+ years total work experience (preferably with financial services experience)
        • 4+ years of process reengineering experience demonstrating significant impact to financial and non-financial metrics
        • 4+ years of project/program management experience related to technology deployment and ideally working with Robotics and other emerging technologies
        • Previous experience in supporting the build-out and running of a pipeline of transformation work at an organizational level would be ideal
        • Previous experience in leading the build-out and execution of a robust and comprehensive skills-based learning program would be ideal
        • Strong data analytics capabilities especially cost analysis and internal/external benchmarking
        • Ability to work effectively with senior managers and with large teams across countries, functions and businesses
        • Understanding of the drivers of value including the ability to size and prioritize large scale initiatives across businesses and functions
        • Strong communication skills and the ability to structure logical analysis in presentations
        • Excel and PowerPoint skills are key
        • The role requires a high degree of entrepreneurial spirit and requires tenacity to drive outcomes in partnership with various stakeholders
        • The role also requires a sense of urgency to drive the desired outcomes and results whist working to produce high quality work products and managing multiple priorities
        • An understanding of Citi's businesses, the major strategic issues and the senior management landscape would be beneficial Job Skills/Qualifications:
          • An undergraduate degree and an MBA (desirable but is not required)
          • Lean and / or Six Sigma, PMP or Prince certification is also desirable but is not required
          • Highly motivated, organized and methodical
          • Logical, analytic and rational
          • Demonstrated team player Educational Level:
            • Bachelor's degree
