**ROLE SUMMARY** The Director, Pricing Dynamics will report to the Sr. Director, Pricing Dynamics within the Patient & Health Impact (PHI) Global Pricing Team. The Director is responsible for providing global, enterprise-wide pricing, economic, and analytic leadership, including but not limited to: + Developing and implementing state of the art predictive pricing analysis models to support PHI and Pfizer priorities, including models and analytics to understand demand for launch & inline products. + Participating in annual global Operating Plan pricing & access assessments, providing data-driven insights to cross-functional and therapeutic area teams, and developing new models to advance understanding of near-term and mid-term pricing risks to the plan. + Advancing Pfizer's adoption of cutting edge price data analytics, including statistical and econometric methods, machine learning, and artificial intelligence **ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES** Advance and evolve the Pricing Dynamics team's predictive decision analytics resources and capabilities in support of Pfizer's Global Pricing Community of Practice + Support and advance the use of existing price and demand tools and analytics to achieve business objectives + Develop new and innovative tools and models to improve price decision-making across the enterprise Integrate state-of-the-art economic and analytic approaches into forecasting and other tools used by the broader PHI team + Partner effectively with Pfizer Digital to strengthen the Pricing Dynamics technology platform + Lead the planning, procurement, and implementation of software solutions and data platforms; manage external vendor relationships and provide team training on new tools as needed + Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders: Global Pricing Leads, PHI Business Unit leads and teams, cross-functional teams including Finance, Commercial, and other functions as appropriate to achieve enterprise objectives Provide country and regional support through the Operating Plan process + Leverage the operating plan to identify and proactively manage pricing decisions by countries as required by global Price Governance and the Price Change Request process + Partner with country Health and Value, Finance, Corporate Affairs, and other relevant colleagues to conduct Operating Plan price analyses, identify price change drivers, and advance solutions to manage government mandated price reductions Manage and update internal Pricing SOPs, Guidance, Governance and Price Disclosure requirements that are followed by in-country Health and Value, global PHI, Commercial, Corporate Affairs, and Finance colleagues Mentor and coach junior colleagues, interns, and graduate associates on Pricing Dynamics approach and scope of activities **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** + Graduate level degree in economics, statistics, finance, or data science + Minimum of 7 - 10 years' experience in global pricing, market access, health economics, finance, outcomes research or related health services/public health research is required. Industry experience is highly desired + Direct experience in economic and pricing analytics, technology management and forecasting, including demand estimation and forecasting, price-volume sensitivity and/or applied industrial organization + Excellent knowledge of and experience in pricing/health economic/econometric/financial modeling methods, applied theory/technical principles, statistics, data interpretation and analyses and related working knowledge of global healthcare including reimbursement systems + Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and statistical programming and modeling software (e.g. R, Stata, MATLAB, SAS) **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** + Ability to work with a high degree of independence to analyze complex data and develop and implement related strategic recommendations + Excellent interpersonal and team matrix interactions/collaborations, communications, agility, and flexibility working with colleagues across multiple cultures and time zones + Ability to work under pressure, to take accountability for business challenges and tackle complex problems; willingness to learn and embrace new approaches to modeling + Strong customer-orientation; an ability to see issues from the point of view of others + An 'execution mindset' focused on getting things done quickly and simply + Outstanding writing, oral and presentation skills; Ability to convey and effectively communicate pricing analysis project proposals and strategies, and the results of complex models and data analyses to diverse audiences + High level of integrity and transparency of conduct **Sunshine Act** Pfizer reports payments and other transfers of value to health care providers as required by federal and state transparency laws and implementing regulations.
