Job Description The Senior Director, North American Brand Activation (NABA) will be responsible for leading strategic branding initiatives, and following them through to execution, in the US and Canada. This includes working with and evolving the Teva corporate brand implementation model and innovative promotional product and portfolio branding models. A significant focus of the NABA role will be leading the building of the Teva brand internally and externally, working with the global corporate brand team, North American regional management, country management in the US and Canada and identified country brand leaders. The NABA position will ensure ongoing support exists in both country/region management and will fully leverage the global support functions in Digital, Marketing Communications, the Brand and Market Activation COEs and in Communications in order to ensure seamless execution while identifying uniquely market-relevant touchpoints and RTBs. This is a uniquely matrixed role within the organization, and the candidate must be comfortable with this construct. Main responsibilities: * Create and drive an ongoing Teva brand execution plan with both the internal and external audiences, creating milestones and timelines, defining plan goals and stating clear deliverables * Leadership of a country 'brand launch team' with the country brand leads in the US and Canada and the necessary cross- functional teams to impact all relevant marketing touchpoints * Head the innovative promotional branding model opportunity analysis, strategy development and launch planning in collaboration with the local marketing team * Define internal and external communication plans and help identify the country budget to support Teva brand activities, development and execution * Enable continuous improvements by representing best practices their countries in best practice sharing with other regions and markets * Strong partner to the North America Corporate Brand & Communications helping to proactively make linkages between Brand and business and engage employees in the Brand launches and ongoing activation in both US and Canada * Leverage global storytelling and assets towards all branded communications and attempt to infuse the same thinking at a product level * Activate the corporate brand in NA by developing continuously new reasons to believe together with the business * Initiate and drives internal engagement, working with the countries to ensure that there is a plan in place at the time of launch and at all key milestones subsequently Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree or higher level * Experienced commercial pharmaceutical leader (> 5 years) * Relevant experience and practice in branding and marketing * Must be able to obtain results across a matrix organization by building relationships and managing expectations across a variety of stakeholders at global, regional and country levels. * Outstanding project management experience and organizational skills including the ability to set and drive requirements across multiple areas * Proven experience leading internal engagement programs or change management leadership is strongly preferred. * Experience in digital marketing, specifically in the use of diverse digital channels (websites, social, marketing automation) is an advantage for brand-building purposes * Experience in digital content, including the ability to recognize the business needs for content and sourcing content from global or local sources * Open to new challenges, ideas, and new ways of working * Ability to perform under pressure in a complex environment Function Marketing Sub Function Marketing Reports To SVP Global Brand & Corp Marketing Teva's Equal Employment Opportunity Commitment Teva Pharmaceuticals is committed to equal opportunity in employment.
