DGA Security Systems, Inc. is a security and fire systems specialist that New York City's best known businesses have entrusted with their protection since 1969. DGA remains family owned and today is the region's largest independent provider of security and fire solutions.
DGA serves businesses across the tri-state area including all five boroughs and the surrounding counties, as well as New Jersey and Connecticut. We also help protect a rapidly growing number of national accounts.
DGA is licensed by the State of New York to install and service burglar and fire alarm systems, approved by the New York City Fire Department to inspect and service smoke detectors and to monitor fire and sprinkler systems, and DGA is trusted by thousands of New York City business owners to protect them and to ensure compliance with all codes and requirements.
DGA currently has an opening for a Sales Manager who will be responsible for supervising our Fire Team. In this role you will lead our existing sales force and train and mentor new hires. You will oversee internal processes, provide leadership in the achievement of goals and work to develop new market opportunities.

Responsibilities: -- Coach and mentor the fire alarm sales team-- Participate in the development of the company's strategic plan-- Maximize market penetration through appropriate utilization of resources-- Lead negotiations to successful closure by participating in key customer visits/sales calls-- Manage and improve our systems of accountability, measurement and control-- Ensure that all sales consultants meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes-- Set example for sales consultants in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits-- Conduct weekly/monthly coaching and counseling with sales consultants to build motivation and selling skills-- Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
Requirements:-- 5+ years of sales experience in a B2B organization, preferably within a NYC territory-- 2+ years of experience managing a hunter sales team focused on new business development-- Bachelors degree required-- Proficiency in Salesforce-- Comfortable leading and working in teams, experienced at project management and successful selling at all customer levels.-- Excellent communication and team building skills with a strong understanding of inter-departmental relations-- Must be hands on

This is the ideal position for an individual looking to make a difference and work closely with the company's top executives. This position will report to the Director of Sales.
