Job Description:

Functional Area:HR - Human Resources Estimated Travel Percentage (%): Up to 25% Relocation Provided: Yes AIG Employee Services, Inc. The Employee Experience Program Manager is accountable to the CHRO, providing support in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, and leads projects and initiatives across the HR function globally. This position may operate as a proxy at meetings, presentations and committees, and will proactively liaise and leverage Business Unit/Function Executives and Senior HRBPs to achieve the goals and objectives of the HR Transformation. He/she will be a key brand ambassador, and partner closely with various HR stakeholders to rationalize demand and foster the firms culture of value-add change while leveraging of existing resources; he/she is champion for stakeholder engagement. This is an individual contributor role on a global scale. Key Responsibilities: - Under the direction of the HR Transformation Lead, direct and lead a wide range of large scale transformation projects across the businesses and functions - In partnership with the Transformation Lead, take the lead role in articulating and socializing-to-acceptance the firms HR transformation methodology across stakeholders and influencers from around the organization, globally - Lead the build, enhancement, assessment, and evolution of the firms employee experience, from on-boarding to off-boarding, that clearly reflects the firms values, and in turn enables the foundation of the firms employee value proposition - Identify, address, remediate workforce / human capital risks prior to negative consequences relative to colleague career progression, unique business goals, and broader organizational effectiveness - Facilitate collaboration among the Senior HRBPs and leadership across the HR specialty areas, to ensure prioritization of critical, strategic issues and the seamless sharing of information. - Facilitate business process and employee journey mapping, for the full life-cycle of the colleague experience - Partner with the dedicated analytics team to conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of colleague feedback, using best practice research and analytics methodologies - Drive an employee-centric focus across our employee enablement and development programs; partner with technology, service delivery providers, and operational excellence leadership to ensure ease of understanding and access - In spirit and program design, imbue the employee experience with client focus, collaboration, and transparency: Work to ensure employee programs are tailored, inclusive, and both reflect the firms vision as well as match employees identities - Partner with a dedicated resource in corporate communications to develop and execute an effective cadence of communications to tell the story of HR transformation: Oversee the creation and distribution of messages through various AIG communication channels to reach defined audiences to meet specific program objectives, and promote awareness of change by assisting in creating and implementing comprehensive communication plans - Inventory various stakeholders/audiences to tailor communications as relevant, including overseeing the re-branding of re-tooled processes, resources, and colleague-alignments - Partner with appropriate functional stakeholders and dedicated technologists, to define and implement the ongoing HR technology governance necessary to ensure a high level of data and firm wide alignment. - Develop a stakeholder engagement plan, that advises senior stakeholders on project status, strategies and emerging issues, in order to support their decision-making processes - Coordinate and manage meetings that ensure stakeholders are engaged and informed, and in the best position to meet their decision-obligations - Partner with HR stakeholders to define critical data requirements, metrics and reporting frequencies needed to enable HR to effectively analyze trends, predict future trends and to use these trends to make decisions and take action in support of Business and HR Strategies. - Build collaborative relationships with internal and external teams throughout the entirety of change initiative - Conduct needs analysis, comparing current state to future state processes and procedures; conduct research and analysis to determine the effectiveness of HR initiatives, programs and policies. - Hold the full inventory of organizational structure, business processes, and related roles and responsibilities, and track related change as a result of the program activity; track lessons learned - Assist in facilitating business process re-engineering discovery sessions; record key change impacts and prepare related documentation for next steps including supporting the development and delivery of training materials - Assist in conducting engagement and readiness assessments with end users impacted by the change - Keep abreast of current HR issues and trends by attending appropriate external meetings and conferences; and researching, reviewing, summarizing and presenting current literature to internal leadership. Professional Competencies: - Comfort with change and having the ability to adapt and be flexible with strategic realignment initiatives - Demonstrated results-oriented, with the drive to achieve excellence in strategy and execution - Ability to balance competing priorities, as well as strategic and day-to-day service delivery. - Excellent organization, prioritization and multitasking skills are critical for success. - Ability to communicate with impact and influence with senior level leaders - Proven belief in the core values of Dealing with Ambiguity, Integrity, Accountability, Positive-Can Do Attitude, Customer Focus, and Team Player Qualifications: - Bachelor degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required, Advanced Degree or coursework strongly preferred - 15+ years of large-scale program management experience, as an HR professional, with demonstrated success leading and facilitating organizational change within a global, highly matrixed organization - Experience with Driving and socializing a vision for the employee experience - Experience with customer / employee journey mapping - Demonstrated expertise in Change Management is a plus - Professional experience within the global insurance or financial services required - Able to travel up to 25% as needed. - Excellent oral and written communication skills It has been and will continue to be the policy of American International Group, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliates to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
