The Mount Sinai Hospital Emergency Medicine Department seeks Full-Time Nocturnists, Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our faculty at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, the Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Brooklyn! Mount Sinai Beth Israel: The Nocturnist role provides emergency care to our patients during the night shifts (primarily 11PM-8AM, varies as needed). At Mount Sinai Beth Israel, our highly trained and compassionate doctors have been caring for New York City residents for decades. Today, our ER uses the latest technologies and approaches to provide the finest emergency care available downtown. We have extensive experience as an active emergency room, and our hospital s heart and stroke care has been ranked by CareChex as among the top 100 in the nation for safety, and has been recognized by the American Heart Association s Mission: Lifeline Program for our commitment to quality patient care. Mount Sinai Brooklyn: Mount Sinai Brooklyn, a 212-bed acute-care community hospital located in Midwood. It has a completely redesigned intensive care unit, a new 128 slice CT scanner, MRI services, new digital mammography equipment, and a new state-of-the-art radiology suite. The Emergency Department also serves as a major hub of activity and a critical community resource. Mount Sinai Brooklyn enjoys an excellent reputation in such specialties as cardiac care, geriatric care, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology and orthopedics. Mount Sinai Hospital: The Department of Emergency Medicine is committed to excellence in emergency clinical care, education, and research. Our Department is one of the largest in the country, affiliated with Elmhurst Hospital Center (a Level 1 trauma center), affiliated with Mount Sinai Urgent Care Network & is part of NYC s public health system. The Emergency Medicine Service Line has more than 200 faculty and treats more than 500K patients annually. The Department of Emergency Medicine has two EM residencies along with Fellowships in Pediatric EM, Global Health, Ultrasound, Informatics, Sports Medicine, Administration, Simulation, and Research. Each year, our EM training programs educate about 150 residents and more than 15 fellows. Our research division is ranked in the country based on NIH funding. Position Description:

    Medical Degree from an Accredited University
    New York Medical License
    Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
    Some experience preferred

    Excellent communication, bedside manner and organizational skills
    A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
