Roles & Responsibilities: The Ethylin Wang Jabs and Meng Wu labs are looking for an Associate Researcher(s) for several ongoing projects involving "omics" and functional studies of embryogenesis. Applicants should have wet laboratory experience in molecular, cell and/or animal model systems to study normal and abnormal craniofacial, limb, and/or neural tube development. These projects involve a broad array of well-established techniques such as mouse breeding, CRISPR, culturing and differentiation of iPSCs and organoids, microdissection of tissues, RNA-seq, and single-cell sequencing technologies, and/or other specialized approaches to study gene regulation at the cellular level. Projects in our labs are funded through NIH grants and contracts. Our lab websites and publication records can be found at http://labs.icahn.mssm.edu/jabslab/. The candidate will work within an integrated, multidisciplinary team of experimental and computational scientists at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in sciences, preferably in Developmental Biology or Cell Biology
  • 2 years in a research environment or 1 year plus Master's Degree in sciences or related field
