Cardiology - 2423488 7 East and KCC 4North at the Mount Sinai Hospital are partner units that care primarily for patients with coronary artery disease having interventional cardiology procedures and/or electrophysiology studies. 7 East has a specialty sub-unit for Trans-catheter Aortic Valve Replacement patients and provides care for patients with other cardiac disorders such as congestive heart failure. We are currently in need of a Nurse Manager to oversee the following: Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of a 35-bedded unit with a 1:4 nurse to patio ratio in the procedural room and a 1:5 in the regular rooms.
• The unit provides comprehensive care in conjunction with the interdisciplinary care team for patients with coronary artery disease, both pre-and post-intervention, as well as for patients with other cardiac disorders. Requirements:
  • BSN required
  • MSN strongly preferred
  • BCLS/ACLS required
  • 2-4 years of previous experience in Cardiac Telemetry or general Cardiac, required
