Work autonomously and be responsible for pre-employment physicals, annual health reviews, flu vaccination campaign, and triaging work related injuries. Medical Assistant - Workforce Health and Safety - Weill Cornell Provide compassionate patient focus and superior customer service -keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Coordinate appointments and perform general clerical duties at our employee clinics to assure the timely, efficient and accurate flow of patient information. Responsible for scheduling and registration of employee visits to the Workforce Health and Safety Clinic. Assist practitioners and Management by performing blood draws, Respiratory Fit Testing and Urine Toxicology. Welcome, screen, and direct patients, visitors and hospital colleagues to appropriate areas. Cultivate a courteous and respectful demeanor while multitasking between people and responsibilities. The schedule for this full-time nonunion position will work ; Monday - Friday, no weekends. Preferred CriteriaAssociates DegreeBilingual English/Spanish One or more years of experience as a Medical AssistantMinimum of 3 years previous clerical experience Required CriteriaHigh School Diploma or GEDMedical Assistant certificationBLS Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
