Psychiatric-Mental Health opening in New York, New York. A nonprofit services organization in New York City is currently seeking a new, licensed Psychiatrist for a promising opportunity with their ACT / IMT teams. In this role, the Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing a wide range of psychiatric services in the treatment and rehabilitation for an assigned group of clients or residents. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available! Responsibilities: The Psychiatrist will:

• Provide psychiatric and medical assessment and treatment
• Diagnose patients and prescribe medication
• Monitor recipient treatment and staff delivery of clinical services
• Provide clinical supervision, education and training to the team
• Assist with the development, maintenance and supervision of medication administration and psychiatric and medical treatment and procedures
• Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications:
  • Psychiatrist licensed to practice in NYS
