Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Medical Lab Scientist I in the Lab- Transfusion Services at Overlook Medical Center to work from 3pm - 11pm or 11pm - 7am Monday - Friday and weekends as needed.Perform Laboratory testing in the Blood Bank and report results according to the SOPsOperate, maintain and troubleshoot analyzers and equipmentPerform quality control, calibrations and correlationsMaintain supply inventoryProvide Laboratory information to others on the patient care teamMinimum Education:High School Diploma or GED requiredEducation:Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology highly preferredLicense/Certifications:ASCP Certification preferred or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification highly preferredRelevant Experience:Blood Bank experience preferredAtlantic Health System aims to deliver the highest quality, safety and care combined with the best experience for our patients and their families.
