We are currently hiring for an RN Supervisor for our Clark, NJ

Position Overview
Our Nursing Supervisors are responsible for providing the overall
management and supervision of client care activities within a home
care setting. You will work in conjunction with other team members
to ensure appropriate level of staffing and coordination of care in
order to meet the clients' goals and will provide direct client
care as needed. This position requires an ability to be flexible
and work with all members of the health care team and provide
ongoing supervision, clinical education, support, and evaluation to
the nursing staff. You will be tasked with training and supervising
staff through your leadership skills.
In this role, you must be comfortable working with families with
limited resources, quick-thinking and astute decision-making skills
with the attention to detail to problem solve and conflict
resolution.

Flexibility - typically hours are day shift, however there will be
times that you will have home visits during off shift hours
Must have your own car, we do not provide vehicles or
transportation but you are paid monthly mileage.
Visits to patients' homes for scheduled check-ins
Will have to be able to work on-call hours on a rotating basis (on
call is over the phone and you will receive on call pay for hours
on call)
Responsibilities
Coordinating care to assigned clients, establishing a goal directed
care plan from admission to discharge which includes a
comprehensive ongoing assessment of clients' needs
Perform on site supervisory visits to assess client, family,
environment, and clinical care givers and complete follow-up
documentation
Promote and manage expectations and satisfaction with internal and
external customers
Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nurse practice and
nursing services, analyzing appropriate data and information to
identify opportunities for collaboration with all stakeholders in
order to improve services and patient outcomes
Provide ongoing supervision, orientation, training, education, and
evaluation of clinical field staff
Contribute to nursing education and professional development of
staff, students, and colleagues
Participate in employment decisions affecting nursing staff,
including hiring and termination as appropriate
Promote an environment of quality and safe client care through
participation, development, and adherence to the QA plan and
associated activities and metrics
Be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment
without assistance
Appropriately respond physically and mentally to emergency
situations in the home or during transport
Occasional rapid movement and physical agility in response to the
spontaneity of children and those patients with neurological
impairment
Requirements
Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in nursing from state
accredited Registered Nursing program
Current, unrestricted RN licensure in Indiana
Valid Driver's license and Acceptable MVR
Current CPR certification
Previous experience in home care and/or pediatrics a plus
Environment
Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which
may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions
Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids and infectious
diseases
