Summary:We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a
Clinical Supply Chain Associate (Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm). In this role,
the successful candidate as the Clinical Supply Chain Specialist
(CSCM) is responsible to make sure Nurses and Surgeons in Operating
Rooms and Procedure areas with products, supplies and implants
managed by CSCM have the proper items to perform procedures. The
CSCM places requisitions, puts away products, maintains storage
areas and is responsible to work with suppliers and other
facilities for loaner, consignment or emergency needs. The
specialist works across multiple customer departments on NYULMC
main campus of Tisch & HCC, and offsite procedural areas in midtown
Manhattan including OSC & ACC (and expanding to new locations).Job
Responsibilities:Responsible to maintain, control and restock all
specialty and par stocked products, clinical supplies and implants
in store rooms, carts, operating & procedure rooms managed by
Clinical Supply Chain Management.Performs other duties as
assigned.Follows and makes recommendations for processes
improvements for proper individual and team workflow.Pick cases for
next days cases.Assist with LVAD department requests.Creates and
performs daily record keeping (e.g. temperature, tissue, and
implant logs, and end-of-shift reports) & enters Patient Supply
Requests for new products approved by ICB & Nursing
leadership.Establishes and maintains working relationship with
vendors and other facilities regarding upcoming and completed cases
(loaner trays/implants, scrub POs, consignment supplies, emergency
needs).Works with Purchasing & Accounts Payable to reconcile
invoices.Identifies, suggests and locates replacement products for
use in cases of insufficient inventory, backorders, recalls, and
discontinuation.Recommends and establishes par amounts for NYULMC &
consignment inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels and
complete par reviews to add necessary products or remove excessive
or obsolete products.Checks expirations on all products and
actively rotates stock to ensure expiring products are used
first.Breaks down incoming deliveries and replenishes stock within
storage locations.Responsible to create, track and receive
requisition orders via: Par Scans PeopleSoft requisitions (Rush
Orders, Special Requests, Consignment Orders, Bill Only POs, No
Charge POs (trials)Minimum Qualifications:To qualify you must have
a High School Diploma or combination of education and Healthcare
related experience. Excellent knowledge of surgical equipment and
inventory controls. Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree Preferred. Strong
knowledge regarding clinical supplies, implants and
equipment.Ability to work independently and as a groupCertification
in materials resources CMRPExperience in PeopleSoft 9+ &
EPICCurrent membership and active participation in a relevant
professional organizationsQualified candidates must be able to

role is $45,541.60 - $46,061.60 Annually. Actual salaries depend on
a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education,
