Job Description:
A facility in New York is seeking a Pediatric Critical Care
Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens support as they look to fill a
current need. Schedule: Need 6-13 shifts per month. The provider
must be willing to work either 100% night or weekend shifts OR a
50% day/night rotation with every 2-weekends work requirement Types
of Cases: Assessment, critical care planning, prescriptive orders,
care coordination, emergency management, Epic documentation
Credentialing Timeframe: 8-10 weeks The provider will cross-cover
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Pediatric Cardiac Intensive
Care Unit (PCICU), and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed to
balance coverage across needed areas. Orientation to each unit will
be provided. Certifications: National NP Board certification
required, BCLS, PALS, NYS RN and NP license, Will accept an FNP
with Pediatric CC background. $1000 referral bonus, ask for
