This role will be responsible for supporting, promoting, coordinating the implementation and development of research protocols related to the Total Knee Improvement Program (TKIP). Works with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to initiate, run and conclude research projects associated with TKIP. This position must be able to work independently and within a team setting.Job Responsibilities:The main responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following in a research setting:* Surveying the literature to identify gaps in existing knowledge* Formulating appropriate research questions and hypotheses pertinent to the area of interest* Defining best evaluation metrics* Work and help administrate psychological workgroup for TKIP program* Administering psychological tests (i.e., personality, performance, or aptitude tests), Conducts interviews, distributing and analyzing questionnaires and surveys. Will also interpret results and associate with clinical application* Provides input at start up, as needed throughout the study for protocol improvement, and will be readily available for urgent patient/protocol related correspondence* Providing instruction on methods and techniques needed to conduct psychological research* Completing and submitting grant applications to obtain additional funding as needed* Disseminating your findings at departmental workshops, academic conferences, and in appropriate journals.* Helping to prepare scientific publications and eventual grant application* Ensuring consistent adherence to ethical guidelines governing the study of human participantQualificationsMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education/Training:* Master's degree required, PhD preferredExperience:* 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting or equivalent training* Research experience preferred* Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and Good Technology Practice* Proficient use of computers and software* Experience in the administration of questionnaire* Knowledge of Orthopaedic and/or Rheumatologic terminology is a plus.Pay Range - MinimumUSD $80,000.00/Yr.Pay Range - MaximumUSD $90,000.00/Yr.
