_Job Description__Start Date: July 1, 2024 to August 9, 2024__School Hours: 8:30a-2:30p (Mon-Fri ) No Summer School on 7/4 and 7/5_On Monday, students come for classroom activities, Independent Living House, Smile Farms etc...On Tuesday, students will go to their work site.Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are Community and Travel Training trips. The district always gets a detailed schedule for pick up and drop off locations that can be in various places throughout Nassau County (i.e.: Roosevelt Field Mall, Freeport Water Taxi, Mineola Train Station traveling to Tanger Outlets). The Nurse can meet the student at all these locations. Sometimes, if approved by the district, it is sometimes easier for the Nurse to meet at one of the students home five days a week and just ride the bus with the student to all the locations.There will be about 11-12 students in the group the Nurse is responsible for.
