Job Description:

Manhattan based orthopedic practice is looking to add a full time Certified Physician Assistant. This position is a 50/50 split between the OR and clinic, primarily focusing on orthopedic spine cases. Previous experience in ortho is preferred or those that are highly proficient in the OR.Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician- Conduct physical examinations and obtain medical histories- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients- Prescribe medications and therapies- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care- Educate patients and their families about healthcare management and disease preventionQualifications:- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)- New York State Physician Assistant License- Familiarity with standards of care in various healthcare settings- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentINDPJob Type: Full-timePay: $135,000.00 - $225,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Professional development assistance* Vision insuranceMedical Specialty:* OrthopedicsSchedule:* Monday to Friday* No weekendsEducation:* Master's (Preferred)Experience:* orthopedic: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* Physician Assistant License (Preferred)Work Location: In personby Jobble
