Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Bone Marrow Transplant
Exciting Opportunity at
MSK:
Join our team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator at our David H. Koch
Center. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to
showcase compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make
a meaningful impact in our Bone Marrow Transplant unit.
Role Overview:
Work within a Nurse-Physician based Bone Marrow Transplant Cellular
Therapeutics ServiceProvide clinical support to staff members and
assist with coordinating care for a case load of ambulatory
patients receiving Allo and Auto transplants.Perform intake
eligibility assessments, coordinate care, and assist with
management of patients receiving Car T Cell therapy
Provide patient and family education
Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of
care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up.
Participate in an individualized training/orientation program
geared to providing nursing care in ambulatory setting.
Key Qualifications:
New York State RN license and BSN
2 years recent experience with Hematology Oncology patients
desirable.
1.5 of oncology experience in bone marrow transplant/liquid tumor
highly preferred
BMT National certification strongly preferred
Ambulatory care experience preferred
BCLS
