Medical Director Services PC is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care services to residents in a skilled nursing facility in Queens, NY. The ideal candidate will have previous nursing home experience and be able to work collaboratively with the medical attending/physician and nursing home staff to provide high-quality care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient health, performing physical examinations, and obtaining and updating medical histories. They will also be responsible for building relationships with residents and families, educating them on evidence-based care, and formulating plans to meet their needs and desires. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified and have experience in a hospital setting. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, with a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000.
