Job Description:
WCS Healthcare is working with the TOP Health System in Suffolk
County, NY. We are currently looking to hire a Full Time Licensed
Practical Nurse within our Urology Department in East Setauket, NY
Medical Group. This is a full time Monday thru Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
role with no weekends! Job Function: Plans and manages patient care
according to each patients needs. Interviews patients and records
their medical history and physical condition. Obtains patient vital
signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and
respiration. Provides routine care for patients; Observes patients
health; Assists with patient comfort. Assists physicians and
registered nurses; Prepares specimens for lab courier. Provides
wound care; Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas;
Monitors catheters.
