  Job Description:
  --- Conducts comprehensive wound, ostomy, and continence assessments, develops care plans, and recommends treatments.
  --- Evaluates patient response to care, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and initiates referrals as needed.
  --- Provides staff education, orientation, and continuing education programs to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
  --- Participates in quality improvement initiatives and collaborates with nursing leadership on best practices.
  --- Promotes culturally competent patient and family education, emphasizing prevention and self-care.
  --- Ensures data confidentiality and connects patients with community resources for ongoing support.
  
  Required Experience:
  --- 2 years of med/surg experience Wound and Colostomy experience.
  
  Required Education:
  --- BSN
  
  Required License and Certificates:
  --- RN License - New York
  --- BLS - AHA
  --- Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON)
