A nonprofit organization in New York City is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their staff at a Brooklyn clinic.About the Opportunity:Assignment Length: OngoingSchedule: Monday to FridayHours: 9am to 4:30pm (35 hours per week)Setting: ClinicResponsibilities:Coordinate and follow through on provisions of health care services for assigned programsArrange medical services for persons served and issues medical referrals as neededProvide follow-up on medical problems for persons servedMonitor required staff health records and provide tests in accordance with regulatory agency requirementsProvide immediate first aid with referral to outside emergency services or Private PhysicianParticipate in routine individual case reviewsPrepare and maintain medical documentation on each person servedAdminister medications and supervise certified staff in administrationProvide first aid and attend to emergency needs of persons servedTransport persons served to appointments as necessaryVisit persons served at home as requested by Director or designeePerform other related duties, as requestedQualifications:1+ year of Nursing experience in the delivery of Community-based Health Services to individuals with Developmental DisabilitiesGraduate of an accredited School of NursingNYS Registered Nurse (RN) licenseCPR certificationSolid assessment, clinical and documentation skillsPatient orientedGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedby Jobble
