Pay Information $3,053 per week About The Position ID: 54649201 Shift: 8H Days Description: Unit : Wound Care | RN*Required Certifications: BLS, WOCN (Takes approx. 1 year to get) OR WCEI (Takes up to 1 week to get) Patients: 20 consults per day follow ups (for the whole team). Mondays & Friday are the heaviest days.- Ratios: Workload divvied out by unit.- Required Certifications: BLS, WOCN (Takes approx. 1 year to get) OR WCEI (Takes up to 1 week to get).- Common diagnoses: Pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, vascular wounds, surgical wounds, ostomies.- Experience: Must have 2 plus years experience inpatient clinical experience, Must have wound care unit experience.- Primary areas of hospital covered: Inpatient setting- Typical Job Duties: Review consults, divide workload with peers, patient assessments (head-to-toe), collaborate with interdisciplinary team (doctor, SW, RNs, etc.), placing wound care orders, patient education, and more.- Equipment/Treatments: KCI wound vacs, wound care dressings, a lot of different dressing types and treatments.- Manager/Supervisor: Manager & Director of Wound Care is Tamara.- Shifts & Scheduling: Monday to Friday 8-4 or 9-5- Weekend Requirements: Weekends are optional.- Holiday Requirements: Optional- Is there a call or standby requirement?: None- Floating Requirements: All of inpatient- MS, PCU, ICU & OR as needed.- Scrub Color: Royal blue scrubs or casual dress.- Unit Specific Orientation: 1 day nursing orientation with IT; as much as needed with a preceptor.Date Entered On: 8/1/2024 Cancellation Charting BSN License to Trauma Level:2 Care Shift Notes: Required , WOCN Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week Contract Weeks:91 27560236EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding Competency Exam Core Mandatory Exam Self Assessment (Skills Checklist) 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Different regions may incorporate alternative medicine practices into healthcare.
