Job Description Description Responsible for the care activities
and goal achievements of assigned patients by assessing,
diagnosing, planning and intervening in actual or potential health
problems and evaluating patient's response to care. Responsible
health teaching and discharge planning Acts as a member of a
designated care team and collaborates, coordinates and guides team
members in planning patient care activities. Demonstrates
behaviors, which reflect the scientific knowledge, judgment and
teaching skills of a professional nurse Responsibilities Roles &
Responsibilities: - Registered Professional Nurse who provides
safe, competent, quality care based on nursing theory and research
to a designated group of patients. - Circulate and Scrub in the
Operating Room (ortho, neuro, gyn, general surgery, laparoscopic
procedures) - Provide professional nursing care to Operating Room
patients, including documentation, assist MD’s and Surgeons. Assist
in quality improvement process program. - Utilize the nursing
process in all aspects of care delivery. Ability to intervene in
cardiac arrest, pain management, management of all categories of
diseases and surgical procedures. - Ability to work well in a
stressful and pressured environment. - Holding room desk
responsibilities. Qualifications Requirements: - Bachelor of
Science preferred, CNOR certification preferred. Current NYS RN
license. - Minimum 2-3 years of recent experience as a Scrub Nurse
in the Operating Room Required. - BLS and ACLS required (American
Heart Association) - Documented previous experience or educational
preparation to support credentials. Relevant clinical competence in
area of nursing practice. Special skills/experience may be required

provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on
Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the
role is $52.7162 - $58.8854 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a
variety of factors, including experience, education, and
operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does
not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of
compensation or benefits.
