together. /n /n Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities: /n
/n - Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and
assures proper file identification on all images /n - Demonstrate
competency for operating all MRI equipment and associated equipment
and software /n - Ensure the safety of all those entering the MR
room through education and proper screening protocols /n - Maintain
communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and
their families, and other persons /n - Perform quality control and
reporting tasks, setting up and conducting MRI procedures, maintain
day to-day schedules, assisting radiologist, and contributing to
the efficient operation of the department assuring the quality and
continuity of patient care /n - Acquire patients' chart
data/requisition and reviews both to determine correct room set-up
and learn of any specific medical problems, contraindications to
the study and verify that the study being ordered correlates to the
diagnostic needs /n - Educate patients regarding procedure,
equipment and exam to ensure understanding and safety /n - Provide
coverage as needed (i.e. in the event of call outs or extended
patient schedules) /n - Provide instruction/mentoring to new hires
/n - Scan according to guidelines Maintain quality standards as it
relates to HIPPA regulations /n - Assist in the completion of the
accreditation process for American College of Radiology (ACR) every
three years /n - Maintain CPR certification /n - Demonstrate a
positive patient experience; share information with patients,
providing knowledge about the procedure; ensuring they are aware of
follow-up steps and requirements /n - Demonstrate a positive
experience from the referring providers; providing excellent

Consistently submit images of diagnostic quality without
recommendation of additional image acquisition; performs quality
assurance on images and equipment; demonstrates competency in
utilizing systems /n - Make decisions authoritatively and wisely
after adequately contemplating various available courses of action
/n - Contribute to efficient out-patient Operations, maximizing the
productivity of assigned modality /n - Observe patient for vital
signs during examination /n - Utilize sterile techniques preventing
contamination /n - Identify anatomical orientation on all required
images and assures proper file identification on all images /n -
Review each examination for technical accuracy, presents completed
examinations to radiologist, and communicates pertinent data to
persons for the care of patients following the procedure /n -
Demonstrate teamwork; interacts in a positive manner with employees
and contributes to a collaborative work environment /n - Meet or
exceed deadlines, follows through, demonstrating accountability,

maintain certifications, registration and active CME’s through

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: /n /n - High
school diploma or equivalent /n - ARRT (American Registry of
Radiologic Technologist) /n - MRI certification /n /n /n Preferred
Qualifications: /n /n - Associate degree or Baccalaureate degree in
radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine /n - 1 years of
MRI Technologist experience /n - Proven ability to follow oral and
written instructions /n - Proven ability to communicate with
patients, visitors, and employees within the organization /n -
Proven ability to adequately use, or learn to use, the department's
computerized system and its associated devices /n /n /n Physical
Demands: /n /n - Requires standing and walking for extended periods
of time /n - Must be able to lift and carry items weighting up to
50 pounds /n - Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to operate
equipment and review developed films /n /n /n The hourly range for
this role is $28.61 to $56.06 per hour based on full-time
employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not
limited to local labor markets, education, work experience,
