About The Position We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician for a locum tenens assignment in New York. This sole-provider opportunity starts on Oct 24, 2025, and spans a 2-day engagement with shifts scheduled from 8am-8pm and 9am-4pm. The physician will cover a broad range of urgent care cases and must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Location: New York Start Date: Oct 24, 2025 LOA: 2 days Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Physician Schedule: Oct 24, 8am-8pm; Oct 25, 9am-4pm Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive urgent care as the sole clinician onsite Assess and manage a wide variety of cases presenting to urgent care Deliver patient-centered care across all presenting conditions within the scope of urgent care Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management Respond effectively to urgent cases and adapt to varying patient needs Additional Information Board certification required: BC Must hold an active New York medical license Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Several years of urgent care experience preferred for sole provider coverage Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
