8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Now Hiring: Nurse Manager –
Behavioral Health Location: Brooklyn, NY ? Start Date: December 8,
2025 ? Contract Length: Through March 7, 2026 (Contract-to-Hire
Desired) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 40
hours/week | No RTO Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily operations
and clinical supervision of staff on the inpatient behavioral
health unit. - Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state, and
federal regulations. - Collaborate with directors and
interdisciplinary teams to improve quality of care. - Monitor
admissions, discharges, and ensure proper discharge planning. -
Collect and report performance data for NYSDOH, JCAHO, OMH, and
other agencies. - Support staff development, education, and
best-practice implementation. - Provide 24-hour operational
leadership and administrative coverage as needed. ? Requirements -
Registered Nurse (RN) – Active New York State License - BSN
required | Master’s preferred - BLS & ACLS required - Crisis
Management (PMCS/TRUST) certification required - Minimum 5 years RN
experience (with at least 5 years in psychiatry) - Minimum 2 years
in leadership or management role - Active RN NY license - Strong
communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills 11
