Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/23/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Title: X-Ray Technician Location: New York, NY Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (option for 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM on M/W/F) Job Responsibilities: Operate radiologic and magnetic imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images. Prepare and position patients for X-ray procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Minimize radiation exposure by adhering to proper safety and protection protocols. Process and review radiographs for quality, accuracy, and diagnostic value. Maintain patient records and complete all necessary documentation in EPIC. Perform equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions as needed. Maintain supply inventory and a clean, compliant work environment. Provide professional and courteous interactions in a corporate outpatient setting. Assist with light administrative duties such as greeting and checking in patients when required. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of recent X-ray experience. Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology. Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License. ARRT Certification required. Must maintain professionalism in a corporate environment and be comfortable with lower patient volume (approximately 5 patients per day).
