About The Position We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 2-week locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity begins on Oct 29, 2025, and features 12-hour shifts with weekday and weekend coverage. The assignment requires skills in urgent care, including COVID-related care, suturing, and splinting. Job Details - Location: New York - Start Date: Oct 29, 2025 - LOA: 2 weeks - Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner - Schedule: Oct 29 8am-8pm, Oct 30 8am-8pm; patients seen until 8pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends; providers must see all patients before leaving Responsibilities and Duties - Provide urgent care services, including management of COVID cases - Perform suturing and splinting as needed - Evaluate and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions - Ensure all patients are seen before the end of each shift - Work efficiently in a high-volume environment, especially during periods of increased patient demand Additional Information - Must hold a current New York nurse practitioner license - Experience in urgent care settings preferred - Ability to work independently and manage a high patient volume Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
