LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in New York! About The Position We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Jan 1, 2026. This full-time clinic role includes out-of-house call coverage (4 shifts per month) and runs for 84 days. Candidates should have GYN surgical experience, although such cases are uncommon in this setting. Job Details - Location: New York - Start Date: Jan 1, 2026 - LOA: 84 days - Provider Type Needed: Obstetrician/Gynecologist - Schedule: Clinic Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with 2 weeknight call shifts per weekend and weekend call 2 weekends per month. If no clinic, assignment will include 10-14 days of call minimum. All call is out of house. Responsibilities and Duties - Provide comprehensive outpatient care in obstetrics and gynecology - Participate in a rotating call schedule as outlined - Perform GYN surgical procedures as needed - Manage prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care - Document encounters using Allscripts EMR system - Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure high-quality patient care Additional Information - Active New York medical license required - Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required - GYN surgical experience necessary, though procedures are rare in this setting Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
