Northwell Health’s Department of Neurology is seeking BC/BE
Vascular/Stroke Neurologists to join our expanding
multi-disciplinary team. Full-time opportunities are available in
the following locations: Long Island: Suffolk County: Peconic Bay
Medical Center (Riverhead) Mather Hospital (Port Jefferson)
Manhattan Lenox Hill Hospital Westchester Northern Westchester
Hospital Phelps Hospital About the Department/Opportunity: The
Department of Neurology has seen tremendous growth over the past
five years across all regions, with the goal of providing
comprehensive, integrated health care and wellness services.

with the nation's most extensive system of comprehensive stroke
centers, including 4 Comprehensive Stroke Programs, 11 Primary
Stroke Centers, and a Thrombectomy-Capable Center. Three of our

including North Shore University Hospital at 22. Extensive Network:
work within a vast network of 16 New York State-designated stroke

team comprised of physician assistants, nurse practitioners,

response to stroke symptoms. Academic Affiliation: Collaborate with
the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at

neurologists through grand rounds, conferences, and case
discussions. Candidate Qualifications: The successful candidate
will ideally possess the following qualifications and experience:
D. Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or foreign program
that is similarly appropriately accredited) Completion of Neurology
residency and Stroke/Vascular fellowship Board Certified/Board
Eligible in Neurology Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed
as a physician in the State of New York Incentives include, among

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges
from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors,
including but not limited to physician specialty, level of
experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient
experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is
a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the
time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the
future
