Job Description Essential Functions: /n /n - Responsible for day-to-day operation and activities of the clinic and medical service of the consulting physicians. /n - Ensure that resident care delivered is in compliance with facility’s policy and procedure. /n - Responsible to ensure that clinical procedures requested are performed in the appropriate time frame. /n - Keep the medical director, DNS, Director of TCU and ADNS apprised of clinic functions. /n - Assist consulting physicians as needed. Ensure physicians conduct their required visits. /n - Interface with transportation companies to ensure residents will be transported to appointments. /n - Deal effectively, professionally and tactfully with residents and families. /n - Assess employees upon return to work. Collaborate with Medical Director if there are any concerns or questions. /n - Perform annual employee physicals. /n - Administer influenza, pneumonia, hepatitis and PPD to participants and our care members. /n - Demonstrate the ability to recognize priorities in organization of workflow. Able to perform duties independently with minimal need for direct supervision. /n - Perform other duties as assigned. /n /n Education & Experience: /n Formal Education: Bachelor’s Degree /n Experience: 1 year /n License Registration and/or Certification Requirement: Yes /n Minimum Knowledge: Requires advanced knowledge of a specialized or technical field or a thorough knowledge of the practices and techniques of a professional field. /n Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employes of the organization. /n
