Job Description An Addiction Medicine Facility in Manhattan is
currently seeking a Supervising Nurse Practitioner to join their
growing team. About the Opportunity: Start Date: ASAP Assignment
Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire) Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 6:15am - 1:45pm EMR: ECR Patient Population: Adults Only
Patient Volume: 10-15 patients per day Responsibilities: Perform
physical exams, diagnose substance use disorders, provide
medications for opioid use disorder and hepatitis C Provide primary
care services to a subset of patients Order and review laboratory
tests Respond to medical emergencies Supervise lead nurse and
nursing team Provide oversight of nursing team's dispensing of
medication and DEA reporting Assist medical director in development
of nursing protocols, policies and procedures Qualifications: New
York State Certified Nurse Practitioner 1 year experience treating
patients with substance use disorders preferred, on-site training
in addiction medicine provided for highly qualified candidates
3-year experience working as a registered nurse with supervisory
experience Active DEA registration Enrollment in Medicaid and
Medicare as a provider prior to start or application within 1 week
of start date. At the time of and throughout employment cannot be
listed in any of the federal or state Medicaid/Medicare exclusion
lists, and Statewide Central Registry for abuse and neglect.
