Key Job Details – MRI Tech & Imaging Technologist - Location: Randall Manor, Staten Island, NY 10310 (New York healthcare jobs) - Setting: Hospital - Schedule: Evening Shift (4:00pm – 12:00am); every other weekend and holiday required - Hours per Week: 40 - Contract Type: Temp to Perm (13-week initial contract) - Pay Rate: $51.34/hr – $53.55/hr at time of conversion (negotiable) - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2380–$2550 Qualifications – MRI Technologist & Multi-Modality Imaging Tech - Minimum 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist or Multi-Modality Imaging Tech - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field - ARRT (R) certification required - ARRT (CT) and ARRT (MR) certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain - State licensure (New York radiology license if applicable) - BLS certification - Proficiency in MRI, CT, and X-ray equipment operation - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and cross-sectional imaging - Excellent patient care and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team - Experience with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems Responsibilities – Hospital Imaging Technologist - Perform diagnostic imaging procedures: MRI, CT, and X-ray - Operate MRI scanners, screen patients for contraindications, and administer contrast agents - Conduct CT scans (trauma, contrast, non-contrast), patient positioning, and 3D reconstructions - Perform general radiographic exams, including portable and fluoroscopic procedures - Ensure patient safety and comfort during all procedures - Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment - Comply with regulatory and accreditation standards - Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals for accurate diagnostics - Participate in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays Apply now to join our hospital imaging team in Staten Island, NY and take the next step in your healthcare career!
