We are seeking both General Gastroenterologists and Gastroenterologists with advanced skills, including certification in Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS). With no two patients or days alike, you'll collaborate to provide out-of-the-box, patient-focused strategies. Here are a few of the responsibilities you can expect to provide both inpatient and at our outpatient practice: For General Gastroenterologists: - Diagnosing and managing a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions. - Performing routine endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies. - Providing patient education, disease prevention guidance, and health maintenance support. For Gastroenterologists with Advanced Skills: - Diagnosing and managing complex gastrointestinal conditions using advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. - Performing ERCP procedures to address disorders of the bile ducts, pancreas, and gallbladder. - Utilizing EUS examinations to diagnose and stage gastrointestinal tumors and manage pancreatic and biliary disorders. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and coordinate multi-disciplinary treatment plans. Qualifications: What you’ll need as a Gastroenterologist. - Graduate from an accredited Medical School. - Active New York Medical License. - Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist. - For Advanced GI: Subspecialty training in Advanced Endoscopy, including ERCP and EUS.
