OPEN POSITION: Physician - Primary Care SCHEDULE: - Full-Time - Monday to Friday - 40 Hours per Week - No On-Call - No Nights - No Weekends - No Holidays COMPENSATION: - $225,000 to $280,000 Base Salary, negotiable dependent upon experience - Sign-On Bonus - Malpractice w/ Tail Coverage - Medical / Dental / Vision Insurance - CME Allowance - Paid Time Off - Paid Holidays - 401k w/ 4% Match - Details Negotiable LOCATION: East New York, Brooklyn, New York COMPANY PROFILE: Having opened its first office more than 20 years ago, this organization is now the largest physician-led outpatient medical practice in the greater NYC metro area. In addition to robust primary care offerings, they also operate specialty service lines in cardiology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, allergy and immunology, dermatology, and more. Their large staff of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants are supported by dedicated team members, utilizing resources such as on-site laboratory services. POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position will provide a full scope of primary care services including, but not limited to, the diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance for patients. Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to: - review patient histories and perform physical examinations - evaluate, diagnose and provide appropriate treatment and patient care - refer patients to specialists as needed - provide quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care - review all test results and recommend suitable management for patients - prescribe medications - formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans - provide relationship-centered care, taking into account psychosocial and physical needs - collect and record patient information, such as histories, reports, and examination results - maintain complete and accurate medical records - communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care - participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings The physician will see an average of 25 to 27 patients per day. All visits are prepped and supported by dedicated clinical assistants. The practice utilizes the Epic EHR. This position has no weekends, no evenings, and no on-call.
