An office-based practice in Queens is currently seeking a Rheumatologist for a promising opportunity with their growing team. About the Opportunity: Schedule: Monday-Friday with one Saturday per month (day off the Monday after working a Saturday) Hours: 9am-5pm with one later night per week Patient volume: 2-3 per hour Responsibilities: Review patient history and perform physical examinations Evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care Recommend and order lab tests including X-rays of the joints to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition Diagnose disorders and diseases of the musculoskeletal system and immune system Diagnose and treat rheumatic disorders of the skeletal system, muscles, and joints Treat patients with rheumatic diseases including, but not limited to lupus, tendonitis, arthritis, myositis, scleroderma, and osteoporosis Prescribe anti-inflammatory drugs and other medications Formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans Qualifications: Current unrestricted NYS medical license Board Certified/Board Eligible in Rheumatology 1-3 years of experience in outpatient setting
