Our Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support and oversee clinical operations in our skilled nursing facility. The ADON works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff support. Competitive compensation and full benefits offered. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist the Director of Nursing in daily clinical and administrative operations - Supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care and adherence to policies - Ensure compliance with NYS DOH, CMS, and facility regulations - Participate in staff scheduling, evaluations, and performance management - Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness - Oversee infection control, wound care, and quality assurance initiatives - Support admission assessments, care planning, and interdisciplinary coordination - Respond to clinical issues, incidents, and family concerns as needed - Provide education, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff QUALIFICATIONS: - Nursing degree or graduate of an approved nursing program - Current NYS RN license required - Prior ADON or nursing leadership experience preferred - Long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred - Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and clinical best practices - Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills - Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team ABOUT US: This skilled nursing facility provides comprehensive rehabilitation and long-term care services in a modern, resident-centered environment.
