Doctor of Medicine | Family Practice Location: New York Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Director of Hospital Medicine to lead its dynamic Hospital Medicine team at Hospital in Syracuse, New York. This leadership role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional inpatient care within a respected, community-focused, and mission-driven health system. Position Overview: Lead and manage the Hospital Medicine team in a full-time day-shift leadership role Oversee and guide inpatient care delivery, performance metrics, and clinical quality initiatives Collaborate closely with administrative and clinical teams to implement evidence-based best practices Drive initiatives that enhance quality, safety, and efficiency of hospitalist services Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, hospital policies, and accreditation requirements Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of hospitalist staff Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation and workflow management Maintain a schedule of approximately 40–50 hours per week , Monday through Friday No weekends and no on-call responsibilities Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 2 years) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine New York Medical License (active or willingness to obtain) Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in an acute care setting Proven experience managing hospitalist teams and improving operational performance Benefits Competitive Annual Salary: $325,000–$350,000 (based on experience) Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 Comprehensive Benefits Package , including: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Options Retirement Programs Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for healthcare and dependent care Generous PTO, vacation, and sick time CME Allowance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employer
