Position A respected hospital in Troy, New York is seeking
full-time Nocturnists to join its established, employed hospital
medicine group. This is a great opportunity for physicians who
value strong team collaboration, physician-friendly policies, and a
flexible, well-supported practice environment. Position Highlights:
Join a well-established hospitalist team with excellent system
support 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) ; 7 on / 7 off schedule
Average census: 15–18 patients per physician per night Advanced
Practice Providers (APPs) assist with coverage Closed ICU – No ICU
management required by hospitalists No required procedures
Nocturnists are responsible for running rapid responses and codes
Supportive and collaborative environment Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary: $332,800/year Starting bonus up to $40,000 (to be
discussed during interview) Relocation allowance based on distance
moved (reimbursement model) Full benefits including: Medical,
Dental, and Vision insurance Paid malpractice with tail coverage
CME time and expense allowance Paid time off Retirement plan with
employer matching Candidate Requirements: Board Certified or Board
Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Internal Medicine or
Family Medicine – REQUIRED New York medical license (or willingness
to obtain) – REQUIRED DEA certification (or willingness to obtain)
– REQUIRED Clean malpractice and license history – HIGHLY PREFERRED
