Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Psychiatric - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Critical Care Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in NY. Job Function: - Day Shift and Night Shift. - 3x12. - Gauging patients' psychiatric states. - Collaborating on psychiatric intervention plans. - Administering psychotropic and similar medications. - Keeping patient morale up by providing a positive therapeutic relationship - Monitoring adherence to non-medicinal treatment regimens. - Removing potentially harmful and triggering environmental features. Job Requirements: - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). - Current RN license for the state of New York. - 2 years of Inpatient Psych RN experience is required. - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS CPI, certifications from the American Heart Association are required. - EPIC experience required.
