Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12
hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is
currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment
at a Prestigious Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Job Function: - Day
Shift and Night Shift. - 3x12. - Responsible for managing the care
of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening
problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies,
and interventions. - Provide support, education and comfort to
patients and their families during their emergency room experience.
- Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing. - Provide IV
insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and
many other medical procedures. Job Requirements: - Graduate from an
accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
preferred. - Current RN license for the state of New York. - 2
years of acute ICU/CCU Stepdown RN experience is required; ICU/CCU
background is highly preferred but not required. Disclosure: The
