Job Description Director of Physical Therapy Location: Brooklyn, New York Employment type: Full Time Compensation Salary range: $100,000 – $160,000 based on experience Responsibilities • Evaluate patients’ mobility, strength, and functional abilities • Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans • Provide hands-on therapy, including manual and trigger point techniques • Monitor progress and adjust care plans to optimize outcomes • Educate patients and families on exercises, prevention, and wellness • Document care accurately using EMR systems • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across settings • Participate in ongoing professional development Requirements • Valid Physical Therapist license • Experience in acute care, hospital, outpatient, or home/community settings • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology • Experience treating diverse populations (orthopedic, geriatric, pediatric, post-surgical) • Proficiency with EMR documentation • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Knowledge of discharge planning and continuity of care If you are interested, please email me your resume to yitz@thefwdgroup.com or PM me
