Job Description Cardiac Electrophysiology Position At the
Montefiore Einstein Center for Heart and Vascular Care, we realize

journey. Innovation As the home of the world's first transvenous
pacemaker system, Montefiore remains at the forefront of cardiac
electrophysiology. The Cardiology Division have received
significant research funding from the National Institutes of Health
to study the genetics of heart disease, the molecular biology of
heart muscle, the causes of heart failure and the most innovative
techniques for pacing and ablation. We continuously seek out
minimally invasive solutions for complex conditions to help ensure
the quickest recovery possible. Through our innovative procedures
and treatments, the Heart and Vascular Center pushes the boundaries
of current research and continues to redefine the field of
cardiology. Led by Dr. Luigi Di Biase, MD, PhD, the Section of
Electrophysiology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible
Interventional Cardiologist to join our collegial team. The
incoming candidate should have exceptional clinical skills in
complex ablations, device implantation, left atrial appendage
closure, as well as remote monitoring of devices. In 2021, this
extremely busy department performed over 1200 ablations and 1000
implantable devices. The section is intimately involved in numerous
clinical trials in cardiac electrophysiology. This position is
system wide and therefore the candidate will be credentialed at all
of our electrophysiology sites, including Moses, Weiler, White
Plains Hospital and Nyack. Special interest in clinical and/or
translational research and teaching are important qualifications
being sought from candidates applying for this position. For
